This Church is a congregation of people identical to those you read about in your New Testament, such as: “The church of God which is at Corinth” (1 Cor. 1:1), “the churches of Galatia” (Gal. 1:2), and “the churches of Christ salute you” (Rom. 16:16). Its members are a part of the oldest church in the world because it is a part of the original church, which had its beginning on the first Pentecost following the resurrection of Christ. Of its beginning, one can read in Acts 2:47, where, for the first time, it is said that people were added to it.

It consists of a body of baptized believers in which the Spirit of Christ dwells (1 Cor. 3:16), and over which He rules as the supreme head (Eph. 1:22-23;  Col. 1:18).

It accepts the Bible, the whole Bible, and nothing but the Bible as its all-sufficient rule of faith and practice, and rejects all human creeds and human opinions as instruments of division and abominable to God (Prov. 6:19).

It contains salvation for the lost (Acts 2:47; Eph. 5:25), refuge for the wayward (Matt. 11:28-30; John 14:6), and eternal hope for those who die in its fellowship (Rev. 2:10;  14:13).

It has no creed book but the Bible (1 Pet. 4:11, no captain but the Christ (Heb. 2:10), no name but the divine (Acts 11:26; Rom. 16:16), and no aim but to save (Acts 2:47).

It pleads for the all sufficiency of the local church to do all of its work, for unity in Christ (John 17:20-21), for spirituality in worship (John 2:24), for purity in life (Titus 2:11-12), and New Testament authority for everything believed, taught, or practiced in religion (Col. 3:17).

Its members are neither Catholic, Protestant nor Jewish, but rather simply New Testament Christians (Acts 11:26). They are thankful for the exalted privilege of membership in this blood-bought (Acts 20:28), Heaven-born, Spirit-filled, and eternally purposed organism (Eph. 3:10-11; 1 Cor. 3:16). To its defense we are dedicated, and to its service our lives are consecrated. It is our desire that the church of our Lord will ultimately supersede all humanly devised denominational churches, and that the world will again be united in Christ rather than divided into the current parties and sects of men. To this end our lives and prayers are willingly dedicated.

Membership in this spiritual body is obtainable by simple obedience to the gospel of Christ. According to Him, one must:

  1. Believe in Him as the Christ (John 8:24; Rom. 10:10).
  2. Repent of all sins (Luke 13:3; Acts 17:30).
  3. Confess faith in Christ as the Son of God (Matt. 10:32; Acts 8:37).
  4. Be baptized in water for the remission of sins (Mark 16:15-16; Acts 2:38;  22:16;  1 Peter 3;21;  3:26-27).

We cordially invite you to all of our assemblies, and welcome your questions about anything we do, say or believe. We have nothing to hide, and obligate ourselves to produce book, chapter and verse for everything we teach, believe or practice, or we will renounce it. We are determined to practice nothing else than pure New Testament Christianity (Gal. 1:8-9;  1 Peter 4:11).

Our Bible Classes are just what the name implies—studies in the text of the Bible. The church does not teach handicraft or provide any kind of recreation for anyone at any time. These are works of the home—not the church. Should you want to attend any of our services, but lack transportation, please call the number on the back of this brochure. We will make arrangements for someone to pick you up, bring you to our assemblies, and then take you back home following our services.

Our worship is simple and spiritual, rather than ritualistic (John 4:24). It consists not of elaborate ceremonies and pageantry, but of Bible study (Acts 2:47), congregational singing (Eph. 5:19; Col. 3:16), observing the Lord’s Supper (Acts 20:7; 1 Cor. 11:23-29), prayer (Acts 2:42), and contributing of our means as we have been prospered (1 Cor. 16:1-2) on the Lord’s Day.

Should you be interested in learning more about the Bible, we invite you to call the contact number listed in this brochure, and request a series of studies at a time and place convenient to you. We assure you that you will be under no obligation, and you can terminate the studies any time you desire.

You can be sure that this is not an offer to teach the tenets of some human creed, nor a clever way to promote some human institution. We are interested only in a study of the Word of God, and extending the borders of His Kingdom, rather than building up or multiplying sinful parties and sects (1 Cor. 1:10).

“Come thou with us, we will do you good” (Numbers 10:29).
